It is said that Rosemary has many wonderful qualities as well as tasting delicious, some of these are:
Being an antioxidant……….scavenger for oxygen radicals
Antibacterial……………….assists fighting bacteria, and is said to be an antifungal.
Anti- inflammatory….
Antispasmotic…………. For all muscle spasms / cramps

Aromatherapy works at both emotional and physical levels to treat various health ailments. Pure Essential oils can be used through inhalation, steam or as a body lotion applied through massage therapy.

We all love our cup of coffee or our chocolate just thinking of these products and realising they contain caffeine. My article is directed at the people who drink the high caffeine drinks to stay awake or the mother of young children who live on coffee to get through the day.

Very few people realise that the coffee is a muscle relaxant (which can be good, but it can be bad).Too much caffeine in the system can relax the sphincter muscles, these being the muscles that open and close at either the oesophagus to in-digest food or at the bowel to control our urge to pass faecal matter.

Imagine what may happen if you are constantly consuming products containing caffeine. It has been recorded that voice changes and damage to vocal cords may be a result. Also more embarrassing ,you can be the victim of faecal incontinence (it is the loss of regular control of the bowels).Caffeine intoxication is when you consume too much caffeine in a short space(this could be equal to 3 cups of coffee or more than 300g of caffeine) most commonly known as the “Jitters”.

Similar to an overdose of other stimulants the symptoms may present as;
• Anxiety
• Confusion
• Headache
• Insomnia
• Muscle tremors
• Muscle twitching
• Irritability
• Restlessness
• Rapid breathing
• Ringing of ears
• Skin sensitivity
• Abdominal pain
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Dehydration
• Frequent urination
• Fewer

Caffeinism (yes there is a disorder called this)
When we consume caffeine in large amounts over long periods it can lead to caffenism, which present the symptoms below.
• Anxiety
• Nervousness
• Insomnia
• Headaches
• Heart palpitations
• Muscle tremors
• Muscle twitching
• Stomach ulcers
• Acid reflux disease
• Inflammation of oesophagus
• Faecal incontinence

So next time you see your family consuming a caffeine drink-what will you do?

THE RISKS TAKEN WHEN SHOWERING.

Following is an article I have read (and known for some time).

Two of the very highly volatile and toxic chemicals, trichloroethylene and chloroform have been proven as toxic contaminants found in most municipal drinking- water supplies. The Great National Academy of Sciences recently has estimated that 200 to 1,000 people die in the United States each year from the cancers caused largely by ingesting water pollutants from inhalation as air pollutants in the home. Inhalation exposure to water pollutants has largely been ignored. Data indicates that hot showers can liberate about 50% of the chloroform and 80% of the trichloroethylene into the air.
